I am searching for information on John Edwards who was born in Lossiemouth around 1780 and came to Canada with his family around 1819. He was married to Margaret Fraser (or Frazer). He founded the Baptist Church in Clarence Corners Ontario.

Webmaster comments   Only one marriage entry in IGI for couple with these names - 26th June 1802 at Moray, Drainie. Can anyone help Helen with her research ?

Hi there, first of all can I say that I think that the work you are doing is great, there are so many graveyards falling foul to vandals these days that the work you are doing will be precious to many a relative if not now but in the years to come.
Searching for Alexander Brown of Spynie - born c.1761 and died in 1814 in Spynie manse where I assume he was still the minister and schoolteacher of the local congregation. His headstone reference is stated as S177e and I was just wondering if you could help me locate this grave as I would like to travel up and visit but I'm in Glasgow and I wouldn't want a wasted visit if I could possibly help it.
Thanks for your time and would be very appreciative if you could help me further on this matter.

Thank you SO MUCH, this is great! It is so difficult to get the amount of research I want , being across the pond. One of these days soon, I intend to get to Scotland. Your information is greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Great site. I am searching for the final resting spot for Baillie James Wilson, a provost of Elgin who retired in 1848.

Thank you very much for your Monumental Inscriptions work. I've found the stone of my great, great grandmother Amelia Innes nee McGrigor in your Burghead book. I didn't find it myself when I was up in Burghead 2 years ago, so this is a great find. Thanks again.

I came across your site by chance and was impressed with what you are doing.
My problem is trying to locate where my grandfather was buried. He was James Alexander Grant he died aged 37 at the Mouries,Spey Bay,Bellie on 20th February 1922.
Would anyone be able to tell me how I can locate his grave site. Regards
