Through your site I found my ancestors in the Rafford churchyard database. Can you tell if there is a church still there please? 26 September 2009 - New Brunswick, Canada Webmaster comments   The original Rafford Church linked to the old graveyard was totally demolished, when it was decided to build a new chuch (The current Rafford Parish Church completed in 1826). The Cemetery, associated with the new church came into use in the 1930's.

Could you tell me when the publication of the buried tombstones of Dallas will be available to the public ? I am eager to find out if my ggg grandfather is buried there. 22 September 2009 - England Webmaster comments   We hope to publish these in a second edition of the Memorial Inscriptions of Dallas, sometime in the near future. I would expect the book to become available within the next couple of months, and certainly before Christmas. K. L. Dear Keith Mitchell, I was absolutely delighted to read in your Newsletter, November 2008 of the sterling work your group is doing in the area I partially covered in the article I wrote for the PSAS,vol XCIX, 1966-67, in particular the attention you are paying to St Peter's Kirk. It is immensely gratifying that MBGRG is putting such a welcome and energetic effort into cleaning and up-dating these distinctive monuments. They are a particularly fine group in the wider Scottish context, fully deserving the attention you are giving them. I wish you every success. Kinloss (Moray) cemetery: Searching for William Mackie (d1818) and Elspet Roy/Mackie. Kinloss or Forres cemeteries not mentioned with those surnames.
